Denark is serving as Construction Manager At-Risk for the new Alexander Institute for Environmental Education & Sciences at Maryville College. This 58,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will serve as a gateway to campus and a hub for environmental education in Southern Appalachia.
Designed to support future-focused learning, the Institute features advanced teaching labs, flexible classrooms, and dynamic student collaboration spaces. At its core, the Haslam Center for Environmental Education will connect the College with the broader community through K-12 programs, continuing education, and public engagement.
With a strong emphasis on sustainability, site integration, and user experience, the project creates a modern academic environment that reflects Maryville College’s commitment to innovation, stewardship, and regional impact.
