Denark is serving as Construction Manager At-Risk for a new state-of-the-art technical education facility in Fentress County, supporting the continued expansion of Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) and Roane State Community College Allied Health programs. The approximately 47,000-square-foot facility will establish a new TCAT Oneida campus while enhancing regional access to workforce-driven education and training.
The project includes the construction of a highly adaptable learning environment designed to meet both current and future program needs. Planned spaces include high-bay labs, specialized teaching labs, classrooms, flexible training areas, open computer labs, student collaboration spaces, administrative offices, and support areas. The facility will house a diverse range of programs, including Allied Health disciplines such as Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT, Pre-Nursing, and Licensed Practical Nursing, as well as TCAT programs including Automotive Technology, Welding Technology, Farm Operations, Culinary Arts, and Cosmetology.
“I would like to take this opportunity to commend the work done by Denark Construction on the Fentress County Higher Education Center for TCAT Oneida/Huntsville. I have two other building projects going at this time, and I must say Denark has been ahead of schedule, kept our college informed, and provided input that has been critical to the success of this project. Having overseen building projects for over 40 years, I have found Denark to be among the most professional and best I have ever worked with.”
