“The Residences at Eastport is the first LEED Home construction in our portfolio. Denark worked well with the architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and LEED inspectors to ensure that certification was achieved when completed. Throughout the construction process, Denark was very responsive to our needs and concerns. In the initial phase, they listened to us and found out what we wanted and needed in the repositioning and reuse of the building, and they helped us stay on budget during construction, as they understood our budgetary and life-cycle cost requirements. They also worked with us to identify cost savings in the construction and were very diligent in their communication with The City of Knoxville’s Engineering Department to ensure a smooth inspection process. During the construction phase, Denark’s supervisors were always on the site and assisted in providing reports on the progress of the project.”
