This was one of the largest single projects that Denark has undertaken. Designed by Bullock Smith & Partners, the Events Center includes a 241,000 SF event center and 271,000 SF parking garage adjacent to the Events Center.
Denark was selected directly based on qualifications and competed against five other General Contractors. Doug Bishop, Sevierville City Administrator, said "Denark was sensitive to the fact that this was a public project and delivered the completion of the Events Center on schedule and under budget...I would certainly welcome the opportunity to participate on a future team that included Denark Construction."
The centerpiece of the "billion-dollar" highway and Bridgemont development has already booked events as far out as 2026, with new bookings coming almost every day.
